FAQ
1. What is the YDR3000V hydraulic rotary head used for?
The YDR3000V is designed for coring, DTH drilling and multipurpose drilling rig applications. Its two operating settings allow the rotary head to provide either higher torque or higher rotation speed.
2. What is the spindle through-hole diameter?
The YDR3000V has a 95 mm spindle through hole, allowing compatible drill rods and drilling tools to pass through the rotary head.
3. How does the hydraulic chuck hold different drill pipe sizes?
The YDR3000V uses a rubber-sleeve hydraulic chuck. Different drill pipe diameters can be accommodated by replacing the chuck slips with the appropriate size.
4. Can the YDR3000V be installed on an existing drilling rig?
It can be considered for suitable drilling rig retrofit projects. YONDA must first verify the rig's hydraulic pressure, oil flow, mounting dimensions, feed force, pullback capacity and available installation space.
