Instructions

YONDA converts compatible existing excavators into purpose-built drilling machines. Each excavator drilling conversion system is engineered according to the carrier model, hydraulic capacity, mounting interface and actual drilling requirements, providing a practical solution for contractors who want to expand the use of their existing equipment.
The system can be configured for two main application groups:
1. Rock Drilling Configuration: Equipped with a matched YONDA hydraulic drifter for rock drilling, blast-hole drilling and rock-bolt or anchoring work.
2. Anchoring and Water-Well Configuration: Equipped with a suitable hydraulic rotary head and feed system for anchoring, water-well drilling and other approved rotary-drilling applications.

1. What applications can the YONDA system be used for?
Depending on the selected configuration, it can be used for rock drilling, blast holes, rock-bolt holes, anchoring and water-well drilling. The drilling method, geology, hole diameter and depth must be reviewed before the final configuration is confirmed.

2. What is included in a complete excavator drilling conversion?
The scope can include a YONDA hydraulic drifter or rotary head, feed mast, excavator mounting structure, hydraulic valve block, piping, connection components and operating controls. An air compressor and wired or wireless remote control can be added when required.

3. What are the advantages of converting an existing excavator?
For suitable projects, the conversion makes use of the excavator’s mobility, boom reach and existing hydraulic power. It can expand equipment utilization and reduce the need to purchase and transport an additional complete drilling carrier.
